Warmups will start promptly at 9:00 am and heats will start at 9:30 am. Please be on time!!!

Mini-sharks are encouraged to show off their ferocious kicking in a kick board race (as always there will be older helpers in the pool with them to keep them moving/safe and cheer them on). I would also encourage beginners to try to join the 25 meter club (first time swimming the full length of the pool) in whatever stroke they feel up to. To make it interesting, we will have the girls competing against the boys. We will take the top 2 scores and bottom 3 scores for each age group per stroke. Winners get bragging rights and an ice cream party after practice at a later date. We will need RSVPs for swimmers and parent volunteers to get ourselves organized. This will also be an important dry run for parents to get used to pitching in and helping -as it takes a village to run a swim meet.
