Olympian swimmer coming to Eldwick for swim clinic!
Hi Sharks!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful school year! We are only 10 weeks away from our first swim practice of the 2019 summer swim season!
I wanted to share some exciting news! On Thursday, July 11th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm (no afternoon practice on this date), Jason Lezak, a 4-time Gold medalist, current world record holder, and Olympic team captain will be hosting a swim clinic at Eldwick!
Below is a description of the swim clinic from Jason Lezak:
I have been doing swim clinics across the country and the world for the past 19 years including over 200 since retiring in 2012. I'm best known for my anchor swim on the 2008 4x100 freestyle relay http://vimeo.com/7735706 which was voted by Sports Illustrated as the most memorable single performance by an American at the Beijing Games.
A typical clinic will last approximately 3 1/2 hours depending on the number of swimmers. All clinics will include a motivational talk, Q & A, in the water teaching freestyle, backstroke, starts, and turns, as well as autographs and pictures with my medals.
In order to secure Jason for this date, I need swimmers to RSVP for the swim clinic. The cost for the clinic is only $60 per swimmer. All clinics will include a motivational talk, Q & A, in the water teaching freestyle, backstroke, starts, and turns, as well as autographs and pictures with Jason's medals.
If you are interested in participating in this clinic, please RSVP via the Event/Meet Sign-up Page: https://www.eldwickswimteam.org/swim_meets.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Best,
Coach Brogan
