MCSL Reference Certification for the 2021 Swim Season

Good day to our 2021 Eldwick Swim Team Community, RE: We need Parents to complete the MCSL Reference Certification for the 2021 Swim Season

We are looking forward to the 2021 summer swim season at Eldwick. With COVID-19 changing guidelines, we will need to limit the number of folks who can be on the pool deck during our meets. And to run the meet we need Officials (and you need no swimming experience to be an official!) Just take a class. By volunteering you can increase your opportunity to watch a meet in person. We need your help and offer the following opportunity to secure your ability to 'attend' the actual swim meets. Being a meet Official requires little or no prep, and you get to be on the deck. If you were certified before, please go recertify. We need you. We need all of you!
In order to have a successful season, we need more parents to volunteer to fill the Official roles. Remember you don't need to be a swimmer to help your swimmer!
In order to be considered for this role, you must complete an MCSL certification. The schedule of classes can be found at the following web link: http://www.mcsl.org/Officials.aspx . Therse are virtual class offerings.
Stroke and Turn - watch swimmers and their strokes Separate clinics are available for first time S&T officials and for recertifying S&T officials. Please attend the appropriate clinic. Expect the first time S&T clinic to run approximately 3 hours.

Advanced Referee - if you qualify for this, you know what you do! This clinic is only for Referees that are currently certified in both Referee and S&T ('19' or later). Attendees will be recertified in the positions of Referee and S&T. The clinic will also provide Starter recertification for those Referees currently certified as Starters.
